Superintendent I

A growing interior specialty contractor is hiring a Drywall Superintendent for its Greenville, SC operation to cover a commercial drywall and framing project starting in the next few weeks. The company self-performs commercial drywall and metal framing across the Upstate. This is a field-based role: run the floor, keep subcontracted crews staffed and productive, and hold quality on cold-form metal framing and drywall before it reaches the owner. Low-turnover culture, bonus program, and a full package including a company vehicle. For a commercial framing superintendent with a few years under their belt who wants a project to run and room to grow, this one moves quickly.

• Anticipated $65K-$90K, based on experience

Overview

• Cover an active commercial drywall and metal framing project in the field: staff and drive subcontractor crews, verify material, and hold quality
• Catch cold-form metal framing and layout errors before they are buried behind board
• Coordinate with project management on schedule and manpower
• Hold finish quality on high-end commercial interior work before owner walkthroughs
• Report to branch leadership / senior field leadership

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Strongly Preferred – cold-form metal framing and non-structural metal framing background (stated must)
• 3-5 years minimum of commercial metal framing and drywall field supervision
• Self-perform specialty-sub field background – not general-contractor experience
• Non-union commercial construction; experience managing piecework subcontractor crews
• Healthcare, multifamily, hospitality, or commercial buildout experience
• Bilingual English/Spanish a significant plus
