Superintendent III

A growing interior specialty contractor is hiring a Drywall Superintendent for its Greenville, SC operation, with an active drywall and framing project carrying an immediate vacancy. The company self-performs commercial drywall and metal framing across the Upstate. This is a field-based leadership role: run the floor, keep subcontracted crews staffed and productive, and hold quality on cold-form metal framing and drywall before it reaches the owner. Low-turnover culture, bonus program, and a full package including a company vehicle. • Anticipated $85K-$105K, based on experience

Overview

• Run active commercial drywall and metal framing projects in the field: staff and drive subcontractor crews, verify material, and hold quality
• Catch cold-form metal framing and layout errors before they are buried behind board
• Coordinate with project management on schedule and manpower
• Hold finish quality on high-end commercial interior work before owner walkthroughs
• Take dedicated ownership of a project as needed
• Report to branch leadership

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Strongly Preferred – cold-form metal framing and non-structural metal framing background (stated must)
• 5-7 years minimum of commercial metal framing and drywall superintendent experience
• Non-union commercial construction; experience managing piecework subcontractor crews
• Healthcare, multifamily, hospitality, or commercial buildout experience
• Strong quality-control instincts on high-end commercial interior finish work
• Bilingual English/Spanish a significant plus
